About Us
The Sunday Home is a women-owned, made-to-order home textiles business based in Oakville, Ontario, founded by three women — a master tailor and her two daughters.
Our story begins long before the business did. As girls, our daughters grew up watching their mother sew — and when the fabric scraps were too small to make anything with, she would give them to her daughters. Those girls used them to hand-stitch tiny dresses and home linens for their dolls, learning without realizing it that fabric has feeling, that craft has dignity, and that beautiful things are worth making carefully. That love of good aesthetics, instilled by their mother from the earliest age, never left them.
Today, that love has become The Sunday Home. Our mother — a master tailor and designer — leads the craft, while her daughters bring a lifelong passion for linen, texture, and considered design. Together we handcraft premium stonewashed linen throw pillows and tablecloths inspired by Mediterranean and French chateau living: muted natural tones, soft drape, and the kind of effortless warmth that makes a house feel like a home.
Every piece is cut and sewn by hand, one order at a time. We sell through Etsy and our Shopify store, offering customers a genuine handmade alternative to mass-produced home decor — at a price point ($75–$120) that reflects the quality of our materials and the care behind every stitch.
